MG Engineering (MGE) is a full-service MEP consulting engineering firm. For over 30 years MG Engineering has been headquartered in the heart of New York City. Growing from the founding few to over 150 employees, across three offices and two states.
We specialize in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, lighting, LEED, commissioning/sustainability, and enhanced construction administration services. In addition, we offer information technology, premise security, and audiovisual design services through our affiliate technology firm MGE Unified Technologies. And, our engineers and designers have extensive experience designing residential, hospitality, mixed-used developments, retail, corporate, healthcare, and cultural/recreational projects.

Long Island
In 2004, MGE opened a second office in Long Island (Hicksville, NY) in order to serve a growing market in the Long Island area. This office is managed by Associate Principal Thomas J. Fields, P.E., HBDP, EBCP, LEED AP and is fully staffed with engineers and designers in all trades. In addition, we are able to provide onsite services for our clients with more speed and efficiency and have streamlined overall project collaboration with the client and design team. Throughout the years we have worked for various clients including RXR Realty, Sterling National Bank, Lufthansa, Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Compare Foods, and AmWINs and numerous base building engineering projects.
