Key elements to this renovation involved a programmatic needs assessment to the overall facility which included absorbing offices from the Faculty Office Building, as recommended by the Facilities Master Plan. In addition, the College developed plans to construct a food court and dining hall on the ground floor of the building. The concept design included the introduction of natural light through a multitude of new rooftop skylights. The entire building was re-skinned with highly efficient windows and additional insulation and cladding.

The Wooster Hall project received financial incentives for high performance design through NYSERDA’s New Construction Program (NCP). The project achieved LEED Gold certification.
